World Bank Implementation Support Mission for the Ethiopia Flood Management Project has been kicked off.
April 01/2025 (MOWE), World Bank Implementation Support Mission which aims to provide implementation support to Ethiopia Flood Management Project is underway.
During the kick off the mission meeting, Mr. Temesgen Ketema, Ethiopia Flood Management Project Coordinator, highlighted the status of the project progress to the World Bank teams. In his presentation, ongoing activities such as; physical works, consultancy services and procurement performance progress status have been detailed.
World Bank technical teams on their part gave constructive comments on how to move faster against shortage of time prioritizing activities.
The mission meeting participants includes technical teams from World Bank, Ethiopia Flood Management project, Ethiopia Disaster Risk Management Commission and Ethiopia Meteorology Institute.
The mission which includes Awash River and Rift Valley Lakes physical works site visit will be conducted from April 01 to 09/2025.
