ISA Ministerial and NFP level meeting held
International Solar Alliance Ministerial and National Focal Point level meeting held yesterday late afternoon at skylight Hotel.
H.E. Dr. Eng. Sultan Wali, state Minister of Energy Development welcomed the participants and expressed his admiration for ISA for their decision to organize the 4th International Solar Alliance forum in Ethiopia, the first of its kind in Africa.
During his remark, he pointed out about renewable energy resources potential Ethiopia is to tap . He further underlined that the country is endowed with hydro-power, geothermal, solar and wind energy sources that can be exploited to fulfill the energy demand of the nation and beyond.
India and France conceived the ISA as a joint effort to mobilize efforts against climate change by deploying solar energy solutions.
The main event will begin today which is the 1st of its kind in Africa, and the 4th internationally.
